The design criteria for the Manzanita OB speaker family are six fold.
The design criteria for the Manzanita OB speaker family are six fold.
1) Offer music lovers simple, price competitive two way OB designs incorporating the best in modern dynamic driver and crossover technologies.
2) Offer speaker systems that do not require multiple amplifiers or active electronic crossovers. Speakers that can be used with any reasonable quality amplification source of sufficient output. You connect your Manzanita's as you normally would any traditional passive box design. No additional amplifiers, woofer plate amplifiers, equalizers, power or interconnect cables. Simple, clean and neat. Cost and space efficient.
3) Stand mounted & floor standing configurations designed to deliver open and tuneful bass, minimizing floor bounce issues that degrade bass quality while providing flat, peak free response throughout the bass and lower midrange audio regions.
4) Smallest possible baffle size and foot print balancing operating efficiency and usable bass extension.
5) Simple, high quality, material efficient designs. Manzanita Audio Solutions uses the best "off the shelf" components available. Our designs minimize the number of crossover components. Simple mechanical construction using a minimum amount of wood, fasteners and finish materials. Incorporate environmentally friendly water base finishes as well as renewable construction materials. All wood components are shaped with the latest CNC technology.
